The Deputy Governor who is an alumnus of the school said he felt he was connected to this institution and could not watch the ailing students longer.
"I was a former student of this institution and I have a huge connection with it. This school is also a national school and I had to take some time out of my busy schedule to at least be here once in a week"
"I am also an accountant by profession and it was easier for me to teach the candidates Inventors in Business"
CEC for Education Habiba Hussein has urged other able county staff to also take on teaching obligations in order to help solve the education menace in the county.
Education chief officer Abdullahi Maalim said his department is currently coordinating voluntary teaching activities for the county and urged former teachers, trainers and the larger county and corporate staff to emulate the Deputy Governor.
The Deputy Governor's action has left the students in grins and hopeful that a solution will be established before they sit for their exams. The school's deputy principal Idle Haret shared the student's sentiment and was pleased with the noble service of the county leader.
"I am out of words to describe the Deputy Governor's service. He is the first one to do so and it has left all the school beaming. I want to thank him on behalf of the entire school. "
The County will train 500 teachers in the next few years to counter present and future education crisis.
