Ahmed Shariff Bulle holds an Msc in Rural Resources Management from the University of Wales, UK. He also holds a BSc in Animal Production, Egerton University and Diploma in Animal Husbandry, Egerton.

He has served in the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives for 34 years in various capacities and stations. Ahmed Shariff is also a member of the commonwealth ALUMNI and member of Animal Production Society of Kenya, where he also served in the past in its Executive as the representative for the ASAL region.

He joined the County in 2017 serving as County Executive Committee Member (CECM) in Office of the Governor Incharge of Public Service, Special Programmes and Devolved Units until September 2019.

Ahmed Shariff currently serves as the CECM for Agriculture, Livestock, Alternative Livelihood and Irrigation.
