Lands Management and Urban Development

This section comprises of the following: Physical Planning, Surveys and Wajir Municipality.

Sector Goals

  • Ensure sustainable and efficient use and management of land, for orderly development of urban and rural areas
  • Improve spatial planning and physical planning for proper planning of county space;
  • Ensure proper solid waste management system through protection of existing dumpsites
  • Improve sanitation systems across the county
  • Ensure enhanced capacity of the county on disaster management and response and appropriate equipment e.g. firefighting equipment, water rescue, etc.
