A delegation from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), led by Country Coordinator Yasmin Cansuz, recently visited Wajir County to discuss potential collaborations aimed at enhancing local development.

The agency’s primary focus is to partner with the county government in the Departments of Education, and Agriculture & Livestock, as well as to support vital school feeding programs and various educational initiatives.In addition to education, TIKA intends to assist local farmers by providing essential equipment and services designed to boost agricultural productivity.

This initiative has generated significant enthusiasm among community members, reflecting a strong commitment to fostering partnerships with organizations dedicated to improving the livelihoods of the people in Wajir County.
