Today, a crucial meeting was chaired by the County leadership, with the H.E Ahmed Abdullahi EGH alongside the county’s elected leaders, as well as representatives from the National Government. The meeting was held in preparation for the highly anticipated development tour of Wajir by His Excellency, President Dr. William Ruto.

The discussions focused on identifying key strategic priorities that would accelerate the county’s development and improve the lives of its people, emphasizing the importance of the President’s visit as an opportunity for transformative change.

Appreciation was extended to all the leaders for their dedication and collaboration in ensuring the success of the upcoming visit. These included H.E Ahmed Abdullahi EGH, H.E Ahmed Muhumed Abdi, Hon. Senator Abass KK, Hon. Fatuma Jehow, the County MP, Hon. Ibrahim Saney (MP, Wajir North), Hon. Mohamed Adow (MP, Wajir South), Hon. Adan Daud (MP, Wajir East), Hon. Hussein Abdi Bare (MP, Tarbaj), Hon. Yussuf Mohamed (MP, Wajir West), and Hon. Adan Keynan (MP, Eldas).
